About this image

David Arditti continues to send in interesting images, this time of Messier 97 - the "Owl" nebula. This image was taken through H alpha and OIII filters, was taken over three nights and then processed with Nebulosity 2.5.3 and Photoshop CS4. Full details are on the image. This nebula gives the impression of two spherical shells of gas displaced from one another.
