Comets have been in the news over the past few months and we have now
finalised details for the Comet Section meeting to be held at the
Humfrey Rooms in Northampton on Saturday, 2013 May 18.

13:55 Robin Leadbeater "Amateur Spectroscopy of Comets"
14:25 Nick James "Photometry of Comets. Why, what and how"
15:00 Roger Dymock "The route to visual equivalent magnitudes"
15:45 - 16:15 coffee break
16:20 Prof Alan Fitzsimmons "Comets: Why professionals need amateurs"
17:30 General discussion and summing up
18:00 Meeting closes
The cost is £5 for BAA members, £7.50 for non-members which includes
morning and afternoon tea/coffee. Further details are on the BAA website
