The programme for the 2015 DSS meeting is now finalised which is now
only four weeks away.

Advance registrations would be appreciated, so if you intend to attend
and have not yet notified the Director, please do so by emailing
deepsky at britastro.org.
This is mainly to help with catering numbers, so we can ensure there
will be enough food for all. And also to cater for anyone with special
dietary requirements.

10:00    Section Update - Callum Potter
10:30    Widefield DSLR imaging with a tracker mount - Patrick Joseph-Franks
11:20    Deep Sky Visual Observing the past and today - Alan Dowdell
12:10    The Winter Star Party - Mark Radice

12:45    Lunch
14:00    An introduction to PixInsight - Rik McRae
14:40    A Deep Sky Mystery in Aquarius - Stewart Moore
15:00    Imaging from La Palma - Nick James

15:45    Tea

16:15    Globular Clusters - current research topics  - Prof. Nathan
Bastian - Liverpool John Moores University

17:30    Close

All welcome. Entrance will £10.00 for BAA Members, members of
affiliated societies, and members of Cotswold AS. And £15.00 for
non-members. Price includes lunch and refreshments. Doors will open at
9:30 and the programme will finish around 17:30.

There will be trade stands:

Astronomia (if there is anything you particularly want to look at or
buy, please contact Astronomia in advance).
Webb Deep Sky Society
BAA Sales

Members are also welcome to bring material for display - there are a
number of boards available at the venue if you wish to display
pictures or posters.

There are no advance bookings (just pay at the door on the day) - but
if you are intending to attend, please register your interest by email
to deepsky at britastro.org - this will help with the catering numbers,
and please also note any special dietary requirements.
