Aurora Alert

A coronal hole that covers the left third of the sun has started to impact the earth. The field is unstable but with some neg. I have a weak arc 5dg high & 30dg wide here on the Moray coast and http://www.shetland.org/60n/webcams/cliff-cam-3 and 1 are showing to 10dg high( 21.10UT 25th Sep)

There is a good chance this could be seen in Northern England or even further south as it builds, and it will probably last 3 to 4 days.

Any reports please to - sandra-b at hotmail.co.uk<mailto:sandra-b at hotmail.co.uk>

Cheers & clear skies
