Aurora Alert

A coronal hole has started to impact earth from 02:00UT 27th March 2017.

The field is unstable both positive and negative however the wind speed has increased to over 630kps and is classified as a G2 storm.

It may only affect Northern Scotland but it could go further if the field swings negative. Keep looking north as it gets dark and also keep a watch on http://www.shetland.org/60n/webcams/cliff-cam-3
