[BAA Comets] C/2014 Q2 Lovejoy

Just had a very nice visual view of the comet during the last 45 to 60 mins before the moon got in the way. At about 15 degs altitude in a not fully dark but very damp sky I found it easily in my 2.4 x 25mm opera glasses. In fact I would say it was bordering on naked eye visibility but the sky was too damp/claggy to be definite. In my 15 x 70 bins it was very nice indeed and in my 28 x 110 bins superb.

Thursday night is looking promising here in Norfolk, hoping to get a good hour in a dark sky.
