[BAA Comets] The origin of interstellar asteroidal objects like 1I/2017 U1

There has been a few papers on arXiv recently concerning this fascinating object.


An MNRAS submission today (https://arxiv.org/abs/1711.03558) is interesting in that it discusses the possible origin of  1I/’Oumuamua . "We just met 1I/2017 U1 by chance, and with the derived mean Galactic density we expect such visitors to be very common".
