Hi James,
Yes comet C/2016 PI McNaught, what a comet it was. We had a naked eye view here in UK prior to perihelion but we missed the main show, wonderful it was for sure. I found it ironic that we sent you the man to discover the comet but he never sent the comet north for us to see in all its glory. Speaking of Rob McNaught, I have been trying to contact him for a couple of years now, ever since he stayed with me in Scotland on his last visit, but to no avail.If anyone is in contact with him in Australia could you ask him to get in touch with me.
