[BAA Comets] BAA Comet image archive - volunteer required

The section image archive is an archive of over 27,000 comet images 
including scans from old plates and films and the latest digital images 
from observers around the world. At present the webpages associated with 
the archive are here:

http://www.britastro.org/cometobs/

The current pages are generated statically each time the archive is 
updated. This is not scalable long-term and it doesn't allow users to do 
things that would be useful, i.e. select images between particular 
dates, from particular observers etc.

The Comet Section is looking for a volunteer with knowledge of modern 
web standards and languages who would be willing and able to rewrite the 
archive pages to allow dynamic update of content based on a backend 
database of image data.
