A GREAT DEAL FOR EXISTING BAA MEMBERS

Recruit a new BAA member and receive a discount on your own annual
subscription!

In the BAA we believe that one of the best ways of recruiting new members is
to ask our existing members to help recruit them.  Most BAA members have
family members, friends or colleagues who are interested in astronomy, maybe
keen observers who have their own telescope - and we want to provide an
incentive to encourage existing BAA members to recruit new ones.

So, for every new BAA member that you get to join the Association, we will
give you a 10 percent discount on your own annual subscription for the
following Session - up to a maximum of 50 percent.  (Please note that this
offer only applies to genuine new members, not to existing members rejoining
after their subscription has lapsed.)

This means if you recruit five new BAA members in one Session, then you will
pay only half your annual subscription in the following Session!

This offer also applies to local astronomical societies that are affiliated
to the Association.  This means that if an affiliated society recruits new
BAA members from within its ranks, they will receive a 10 percent discount
on the society's subscription in the following Session for each new member
they recruit.  One affiliated society has already obtained the maximum 50
percent off its subscription for the 2011-2012 session by recruiting five
new BAA members!

The April issue of the BAA Journal, which should be dropping through your
letterbox next week, has a special form as a loose insert inside, so you can
start recruiting right away.  You will need to fill in one of these forms
and make sure that the new member you have recruited sends in the slip at
the bottom with their application for membership.

Remember, new members who sign up BEFORE 30th June 2011 will receive 18
months' membership for the price of a year. So everybody wins.
