Advance notice of two meetings for the New Year.

The first is a Back to Basics Workshop which will be ideal for anyone new
to astronomy. This will be in Lincoln on Saturday 14th March.

The second will be the One Day Meeting on Saturday 25th April in Ashford.
The title of this is ‘Amateur & Professional Collaboration’ This is an
opportunity to find out more about how you can be involved in real science
working as an amateur with professionals. Talks will be given by Dr Dirk
Froebrich, Roger Pickard, Tony Cook, Bill Leatherbarrow, Barry FitzGerald
and Alice Sheppard.

the February Journal
