[BAA Comets] SUNGRAZER

  Hi Folks,

there is a very bright Kreutz sungrazer approaching the Sun today.
My estimate of perihelion time is 5UT on August 4th.
At this time the phase angle will be at maximum 150 degrees.
The comet is brightening very rapidly but hopes for survival are still very 
slim.
Possible peak into minus magnitude, but way too close to the Sun to attempt 
any daytime
obs.(and risky!)

follow it on realtime C3 and C2 images at:
use 1024 resolution for better view.
