Exoplanet transits

The Exoplanet Division of the Asteroid and Remote Planets Section is participating in a pro-am project supporting the ARIEL space mission's ExoClock project - ground-based exoplanet transit observations. This is a great opportunity to get started in this field and make a significant contribution to the mission. The project is explained in full at 'ARIEL Space Mission : The ExoClock Project' and includes (as well as the data shown here);

  1. Installation of Python HOPS software
  2. imaging
  3. generating transit light curves
  4. how to join the mission
  5. how to submit your results
