2006 March 29 Total Eclipse DVD Print E-mail

dboon_IMG_1632_tn.jpg

The total eclipse was well seen from many locations along the track and the BAA has decided to produce a special DVD to record this event. This will include video, audio and stills and it will be designed to work with standard DVD players and personal computers.

Roger Perry has kindly offered to produce the DVD and we are now looking for good quality material (either video or still) to include. We already have quite a large amount of material from the Explorers trip to Libya so material from Turkey will be especially welcome. If you were on the MV Perla and have already submitted it there is no need to send it again unless it has been processed to show additional features.

If you would like your material to be considered for the DVD please send it to:

This mailbox can handle large messages but please keep items to below 10MB each. If possible please include a caption on each image describing the equipment and exposure details.

If you would like to send video please contact me for details on which formats we can accept.

We hope that the DVD will be available within a couple of months and we expect the price to be around £12 to members. Further details will appear on the website.
