About this image

We have been sent several images of this meeting of the two planets. This one is by Martin Lewis and it clearly shows both planets as presenting the same angular diameter, the phase of Venus and the four Galilean satellites of Jupiter. Two separate video streams were combined to compensate for the difference in brightness of the two objects.
