About this image

The first Mars image we have received for this opposition. The planet still presents a small size at around 10" and is at a low altitude at Alex's location. Seeing was reported as poor (soon after a storm).

White orographic clouds can be seen in the region around Olympus Mons as well as the region of Mare Sirenum/Mare Cimmerium.
