Title

The ISS passes Venus and the Moon

About this image

A beautiful evening arrangement of the crescent Moon with Venus and the Pleiades, further enhanced by the colours following sunset. With a prediction of a bright ISS pass, Pete grabbed his camera, composed the shot, guessed at the settings and went indoors, letting the remote shutter release do all the hard work.  He turned some internal lights on to provide reflection highlights on his scope which was set up to image the Moon.
