A still from my video of the total eclipse taken just after C3 when I realised that I had left the filter on during totality and tried to rescue some views in the minute after C3. It is possible to see the solar corona amid the glare of the emerging photosphere.

I wonder how many other people have made the same mistake during a first eclipse in the excitement of the occasion.
