NGC 6356 - Dale Holt

About this image

One of the 'summer globulars' - NGC 6356 in Ophiuchus is not the brightest of 'globs' at magnitude 8.4, but is nicely formed. Dale made this sketch using his 505mm newtonian telescope with a Watec 120N video camera, and then sketching from the screen.
