About this image
Bob took this image of NGC 3718and it'scompanions in Wales on 20120413 using a Takahashi TSA 120 Refractor plus 1.5x extender and aQSI 532 Camera. It is an LRBG with an Ha component combined with the Luminance and is a total 90 mins. of exposure. This is an "Arp" Galaxy which is very distorted due to the gravitational effects of its companions. There is a small Galaxy group lower right, much futher away (300 million LY).
