About this image

With apologies to everyone for the delayed posting of this Picture of the Week (your galleries webmaster has been in the USA), here is an excellent image of the CoathangerCluster (Brocchis cluster) in Vulpecula, taken by BAA member Prof Paul Curtis. The object is currently high in the sky and isan excellent binocular object. The image was taken fromhis home near Andover, with a modified Canon 1100D DSLR through a Meade 80mm f/6 APO refractor, guided by a Meade LX200. The image was a single one minute exposure, processed in Astroart and Corel Paint Shop Pro X4.
