Title

The Virgo Cluster by David Arditti

About this image

This image of the Virgo cluster of galaxies in the region of M84 and M86 was taken on 2013 February 17 by David Arditti. He has labelled the 25 brightest galaxies, down to around mag. 16, but as he says, one could go on and on with this exercise. The more you look, particularly at full scale, the more you see. And this is with only 1 hour exposure in the light-polluted skies of Outer London. Imaging details are on the image.
