Continuing the superb series of images being sent in by Ian Sharp, this is NGC300,brightest galaxy inthe Sculptor group. The image is 42' by 40' and the galaxy looks a lot like M33.Taken using the 12.5" RCOS f/9 reflector in the SSO facility in Australia. exposure details are: (just under 14 hours) - L: 12 x 1200s,R: 12 x 900s,G: 8 x 900s,B: 8 x 900s,Ha: 8 x 1200s.CCD Camera used wasan Apogee F16MD9 and the image was processed entirely with PixInsight.
