About this image

As Orion rises ever higher in our night skies this image of the region around Barnard 33 was taken using a 12.5 inch PlaneWave telescope and QSI 683 CCD camera. Exposure for this LRGB image was 50 minutes for the luminance and 40 minutes for the colours.
