About this image

Barred spiral galaxy NGC 2903 in Leo. Imaged on 2014-03-23 in southern Spain. Telescope was a 12.5 inch Planewave Dall-Kirkham at f/8 using a QSI 683 CCD camera. LRGB Exposure was 60 minutes of luminance in 10 minute sub frames plus 70 minutes each of R, G and B also in 10 minute sub frames.
