About this image

This image, of interacting galaxies NGC 4038 and 4039, was taken in Spain on 2014-04-26 using a 12.5" Planewave telescope and QSI 683 CCD camera. The image is an LRGB with total exposure times of 60 minutes (Luminance) and 30 minutes (Colours) in 10 minute sub-frames. Filter set was Astrodon LRGB.
