About this image

This image is a composite of 26 Perseid trails taken by Pete Lawrence on the night of the shower maximum. All of the trails captured with a Canon 20Da, fitted with a 14mm f/2.8 lens. The trails have been composited onto a base image and the trail times added. Times are accurate to the minute with exposure times of 14s.
