This is a narrowband image of NGC 2070 (the Tarantula Nebula), taken by Alan Tough. All sub-frames were gathered in 2014 using iTelescope T31 in Siding Spring, New South Wales, Australia. Equipment: Planewave 20" CDK Astrograph @ f/4.4, FLI PL09000 CCD camera, Planewave Ascension 200HR mount, Astrodon Ha/OIII/SII filters with exposures of 60, 50 and 105 minutes respectively.
