About this image

· Three movies – 30,029, 60,110 and 36,093 frames respectively at 120fps each

· Flat frame – 1,000 frames at 7fps using Aurora flat-field light panel

· PIPP for initial crop and flat frame calibration for each movie joined to create a single movie of highest quality 5,000 frames from total of 126,232 frames.

· RegiStax6.0 for alignment and stacking of 3,000 highest quality frames applying 0.5 drizzle factors to create a single image.

· RegiStax6.0 to apply RGB align and colour balance to the image.

· RegiStax6.0 Wavelets to apply initial sharpening and noise reduction, image saved as separate RGB FITS files.

PixInsight to selectively reduce the noise in blue channel and then combine the RGB channels to create single FITS file. Dynamic crop applied. Images saved as 64bit FITS files.

PixInsight to finalise image orientation, colour saturation, curves transformation and final crop. Images saved as 64bit FITS file for archive and 16bit TIFF file for publication.
