Title

Object/Date: C/2014 Q1 (PANSTARRS) @ Aug.11,2015 Description: Comet C/2013 Q1 (PANSTARRS) imaged on August 11, 2015. After its perihelion showed this unusual double dust tail: the "nominal" directed towards East with 1.5 degrees long, and the other towards North (upwards) with more than 2 degree long shaped by very heavy particles that were left behind in the orbital trajectory of the comet. Tech data: Takahashi FSQ ED 106mm. f/5.0 refractor & FLI ML16803 camera (L:3×180s Bin1) cropped Location: Remotely from Siding Spring (Australia)
