About this image

The data for this observation were collected during the nights of 23.6.14, 24.6.14, 8.7.14, 30.7.15, 18.8.15, 1.9.15 and 18.9.15. Despite a painstaking approach to setup, I experienced numerous problems with differential flexure during these imaging sessions. The image presented here is created with the better subframes I managed to capture and, as a result, is rather limited in OIII exposure in particular. The total image integration time is 8 hours and 30 minutes.

Stunning image. It will be interesting to see how much this changes over time as it continues to expand outwards.
