This impressive cluster is often overlooked, but not by Damian Peach.  It is in the small constellation of Columba, in the southern hemishpere skies, is 40,000 ly away and shines at 8th magnitude.
Equipment was the 27"CDK scope at Siding Spring, with FLI camera.  This is an LRGB of 45/5/5/5mins
