An image of the retreating shadow after the total eclipse of 2016 March 09. This was taken approximately 20 seconds after the previous image and the sun is now illuminating the sea. It has almost reached Halmaheta Island, the last inhabited landmass before the eclipse shadow raced across the Pacific Ocean
