About this image

Taken from a campsite south of Edinburgh. The Astrotrac mount is nominally for guiding a DSLR and a telephoto lens at most, but with their own equatorial wedge and counterweight bar (and pier/tripod), it can just about handle the WO refractor. 3 mins (as here) is just about the longest sub you can get away with in my experience - close examination shows some trailing in this image. But the total integration time was just over 2.5 hours so several small IC-referenced galaxies are detectable.
