About this image

The Deer Lick Group of galaxies in Pegasus. This group of about 6 galaxies is dominated by NGC7331, a spiral galaxy 40 million light years distant. The image was taken using a C14 telescope operating at f/7 and a ST2000XCM colour camera. Exposure was 24 x 5 minutes sub-frames, combined to produce a total of 2hrs.
