NASA's Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer, or WISE, has imaged NGC1514 in infrared and provided evidence that the unusual shape of this planetary nebula is the result of the dust ejected by a pair of dying stars at its centre.

I captured this image on the 9th October 2016 from 11 ten-minute light frames.  Image calibration, stacking and processing was all carried out using PixInsight
