About this image

I was interested to see Tom Moran's fine use of a 1970's vintage 400 mm telephoto lens in his Heart nebula image, as I had recently been in receipt of  a bracket allowing me to piggy back my SX-814C attached to 135 mm focal length lens of similar age.

The left of the picture is a mosaic of two pictures (if two things can be a mosaic), each a stack of 50 40 second subs. The right shows my attempts to get the most out of the data for a selection of objects.

There's a list of things I did poorly here bigger than the 'list' of objects on the right - so there is scope for improvement.
