About this image

This is the brightest comet around at the moment although it is still only around mag 13. It is currently best in the morning sky. It could become a binocular object early in 2017 and will continue to brighten into the summer. The orbit indicates that this is its first visit to the inner Solar System so we should treat any predictions of its behaviour with some caution.
