About this image

Hundreds of galaxies are visible in this 26 x 24 arcmin field of view of Abell 1656, the Coma cluster. The two big ellipticals at the top are NGC4889 (left) and NGC4874 (right) but most of the other objects in this images are galaxies too, including the small disrupted spiral NGC4911 near the dust mote at the bottom left.
