About this image
My first time imaging Jupiter since the days of the Phillips Toucam and first time out with the Altair Astro GPCAM2 I had to stop at midnight for work the following day and I had run out of disk space! This is only 3rd night using my new 'Crayford Type' Roll off roof observatory and a lovely MN190 borrowed from a friend. I know it isn't a great image but I enjoyed taking it and surprised myself how much I could see compared to the Toucam days :-)
Imaged through an MN190 Mak Newt, Teleview 4x Powermate, IR Pass filter that I've had for about 15 years so no longer know the specs for and an Altair Astro GPCAM2.
Processed with Avistack2 and PhotoShop to do the sharpening and labelling it is about 700 frames, each about 0.15s long, I spent about 30s processing it, so will I probably return to it at some point to process a bit more carefully.
I should probably have paid attention to where North was if anyone can tell me I promise to take more care next time.
EDIT: updated image with one with more careful processing.
