About this image

iCap application was used for image capture.  The exposure was set to 1/60th second and the camera gain set to give around 70% saturation.  Individual AVI files were captured over 60 seconds or 3,600 frames.  A total of 6 AVI files were captured to create this image:

  • The original AVI files were reduced from 3,600 frames to the 2,000 highest quality frames using PIPP.
  • The PIPP AVI files were stacked using AutoStackert using the highest quality 1,500 frames to create single TIFF images.
  • The individual images were mapped in WinJupos and stacked.
  • The final image was processed in PixInsight
