About this image

25 miles in diameter and 2.3 miles deep. Very bright as the impact is fairly recent, 450 million years, if you can call that recent! Space weathering hasn't darkened the exposed material yet.

Chris, a nice capture. I love the horse shoe shaped Prinz crater, and the shadows cast by its remaining crater rim. Have you used Quickmap, it has a great tool where you can draw a line across lunar features and it creates a plot of the contours (the x and y axis aren’t in proportion though unfortunately) but it is a fascinating tool, I’ve attempted to attach a screen shot here.
