About this image

This is a reprocess having given up last year when the calibrated frames all came out with white stars and black background with no shades of grey. This time I ignored flats and just used a masterbias. It worked and I was surprised how well. The captures were on 18, 21, 22 and 25 June the shortest nights of the year so the skies were fairly bright.

M10 is about 15,000 light years away and yet spans about two thirds the diameter of the moon. How many stars?
