About this image

This was the only reasonably good drawing I could make in 2017 with Saturn so low from the UK. I always think the NTB is darker and broader than its southern counterpart, when the rings are well open upon the other face. Just over one Saturnian year ago from Pic du Midi in perfect seeing during the summer of 1986 I recall the NTB being even more conspicuous.
