About this image

Only second time using my newly acquired Celestron CGX with StarSense. It is showing great promise and is a breeze to set up and align, even fully loaded. Testing out mount to see what errors present unguided, so I could then compare with guided images. First results are it tracks extremely well unguided for 60s at least even with 1800mm focal length and to show round star images on a 35 MP full frame Nikon D800, which is very unforgiving when it comes to vibration or shake in the sharpness of pictures. Moon was quite bright, but Nebula came out well and central star is visible. Other unguided images with this set up to follow. Results consistent (so far!)
