About this image

This is more meteorological than astronomical but it is a picture of an almost blood red sun in the early afternoon caused by high atmospheric dust raised by storm Ophelia. The light was very weird almost reminiscent of that during an eclipse.

It was a shame there were no Sun Spots visible.
