About this image
A very chilly morning, but a welcome sight, to see a clear blue sky, with our Star visible.
Winter draws on, and with the daily reduction in solar altitude. We need to make the most of every opportunity there is. Now the Sun is getting lower in our skies.
Our star is very quiet today. You can only see a couple of tiny Filaments in the photosphere. And know visible Sunspots.
Seeing conditions were good, with no shimmer visible. The Sun is now in Libra.
