About this image

captured IC 405 on the 25th of November after a long spell of cloudy skies. I had recently purchased a CLS-CCD clip filter to regulate the overly red appearance of the modded 600d and thought this would be a good test subject. The exposure is unguided although I will be targeting again when the opportunity arises. I enjoy single exposure photography as I am able to record a digital image of what I am viewing through my OOUK VX14 which I use for visual deep sky observations.
