About this image

First try of another M42 lens, this time a 200mm. I have now mounted the 1100D on the tube rings of the ED80 and the ED80 was collecting subs of the galaxy whilst the 200mm was aligned in the same direction. Colour calibration in Pixinsight was giving a strange looking result so I tried for the first time the new photometric colour calibration method. I will be using it again. The lens was fully open at f4 and the star shapes are as good as the 135mm.
