About this image

A view of the Blue Super-Moon rising - looking distinctly yellow rather than blue. Unfortunately it rose several hours too late to be visible in eclipse from the UK.  Let's hope we have similar luck with the weather in July when the moon rises in eclipse. The next blue moon visible in eclipse is on 2028 Dec 31 when again the moon will rise in eclipse from the UK. The last TLE visible in its entirety from the UK was 2015 Sept 28 and the next one visible in its entirety is not until 2029 Dec 20.
